In 2006, the Piccino restaurant emerged as a beloved dining destination in San Francisco's Dogpatch neighborhood, forever in pursuit of our ethos: simplicity executed to perfection. The restaurant quickly gained a reputation for its thoughtfully curated menu, emphasizing fresh, local ingredients that respect freshness and the craft of cooking. Over the years, Piccino has continued to foster a warm community, inviting guests to savor delicious meals in a welcoming space.
Following years of growth, the family-run establishment proudly introduced the Piccino Coffee Bar you see today in the Dogpatch in 2012. This sister venture upholds the same ethos, with a notable focus on quality coffee and house made pastries. Piccino Coffee Bar has always supported upstart coffee roasters; did you know Piccino was the first commercial client for both Blue Bottle and Sightglass Coffee? Attention to detail is paramount, ensuring that every cup served echoes the commitment to quality that has defined Piccino since its inception.
Both Piccino and Piccino Coffee Bar are places where simplicity and a dedication to superior ingredients converge. Each establishment offers patrons an opportunity to enjoy the richness of culinary and coffee experiences in an environment that feels like home. As they celebrate nearly two decades of service, they remain steadfast in their mission, continuing to enchant and nourish the community they cherish.
Piccino Coffee Bar is excited to announce its latest endeavor (coming soon!), the opening of a second Piccino Coffee Bar in an Airstream trailer located in Sausalito, CA. This mobile extension of our beloved Dogpatch Coffee Bar brings the same great Bassline coffee and selection of house-made pastries that our patrons have come to know and love. The Airstream offers a unique and charming ambiance by the bay, perfect for enjoying your favorite brews while soaking in the scenic views along the Mill Valley/Sausalito bike path. Look for us in front of the Sea Plane Adventures building!

Bassline Coffee is the realization of a dream and passion. When founder Brad Katz’s sister sound business, Waveworks AV, shut down during the pandemic, he transitioned from home roasting to launching his coffee brand.
Bassline Coffee offers a full spectrum of roasts to both compliment and contrast like your favorite mix. You can find far-out, fruity light roasts all the way to our version of a darker specialty Italian espresso roast - and everything in between.
We commit to selecting and roasting this range with a priority on memorable flavor, accessible price, and a positive impact for the farming communities that are the backbone of our industry.
Like in music, each roast requires mastering many stages to get a balanced and stand-out product. We are committed to offering you only the best cup, engineering the details for a transcendent result.
